What if I am ill, disabled, or out of town on Election Day?
Absentee Ballots allow some people to vote who would otherwise not be able to get to the polls on Election Day. To obtain an application for an Absentee Ballot, click on the picture to the left. Connecticut law requires that all polling places be accessible to voters with disabilities, whether temporary or permanent. Any election official should be able to help a voter with a disability or find someone who can come to his or her aid. If not, ask to speak with the Moderator (the chief election official at each polling place).
